49ers 26, Raiders 21

FLASH RECAP:
Thomas Clayton's 1-yard touchdown run with 47 seconds remaining lifts San Francisco to a come-from-behind victory over Oakland before an announced crowd of 68,107 at Monster Park on Aug. 18, 2007.

The Raiders (1-1) squander a chance for victory when Alvis Whitted drops a Josh McCown pass in the end zone with five seconds left. The game's penultimate play begins with the Raiders having a second-and-10 at the 49ers' 32-yard line. Two plays earlier, McCown connects with Whitted for a 32-yard completion.

After trailing 13-0, Oakland scores 21 straight points. Daunte Culpepper throws for two touchdowns and LaMont Jordan rushes for another.

The 49ers (1-1) score the game's final 13 points on a 1-yard touchdown catch by Ashley Lelie and Clayton's aforementioned score.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

San Francisco
QB Alex Smith — Completes 8 of 12 passes for 106 yards with no interceptions while playing the entire first half. Smith leads three straight scoring drives in the first quarter, capped by a 19-yard touchdown pass to tight end Delanie Walker.
QB Shaun Hill — Completes two of four passes for 26 yards (the two incompletions were drops) and runs 23 yards for a first down on the 49ers' game-winning drive.
S Mark Roman — Sets up the 49ers’ first touchdown by returning an Andrew Walter interception 22 yards.
WR Bryan Gilmore — Makes three catches for 35 yards on the 49ers' third-quarter touchdown drive.
Oakland
RB LaMont Jordan — Rushes for a game-high 67 yards on eight carries and a touchdown. His 32-yard run to the 49ers' 38-yard line helps set up Oakland's go-ahead touchdown late in the second quarter.
QB Daunte Culpepper — Throws touchdown passes to Zack Crockett (12 yards) and John Madsen (5 yards) but fumbles two snaps, both of which Culpepper recovers. Culpepper finishes 6-of-8 passing for 75 yards and two TDs with no interceptions.
TE John Madsen — His 5-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter gives Oakland a 21-13 lead. Earlier during the 70-yard drive, he contributes a 44-yard catch.

KEY STATS:
Raiders QB Daunte Culpepper has a quarterback rating of 143.2 on 6-of-8 passing for 75 yards and two TDs.

TURNING POINT:
The 49ers drive 70 yards for the game-winning touchdown after the Raiders' Tyler Fredrickson is wide right on a 40-yard field goal attempt with 2:50 left.
