Broncos 23, Raiders 3

FLASH RECAP:
Kyle Orton throws for 157 yards and a touchdown as Denver (3-0) routs host Oakland (1-2) before an announced crowd of 45,602 at the Oakland Alameda County Colisuem on Sept. 27, 2007.

The Raiders' JaMarcus Russell, who hears boos from the Coliseum crowd as early as the first quarter, is 12-of-21 passing for 61 yards. Russell interceptions on back-to-back passes in the first quarter lead to 10 Broncos points.

With the loss, the Raiders drop to 7-38 in their past 45 games against AFC West opposition.

QB Kyle Orton — Is 13-of-23 passing for 157 yards and 1 touchdown.

DE Elvis Dumervil — Has two of three sacks on JaMarcus Russell after four sacks against Cleveland in Week 2.

Oakland
K Sebastian Janikowski — Accounts for the Raiders' only points with a 48-yard field goal during the second quarter.

S Mike Mitchell — Recovers a Knowshon Moreno fumble at the Broncos' 16-yard line.

RB Darren McFadden — Has 12 rushes for a team-hign 45 yards, but coughs up a fumble at the Broncos 5-yard line that seals Denver's victory late in the third quarter.

KEY STATS:
In the second half, Oakland's JaMarcus Russell is 3-of-8 passing for 1 yard.


Correll Buckhalter (108 rushing yards) and Knowshon Moreno (90 rushing yards) combine for 198 of Denver’s 215 rushing yards on 35 carries.
The Broncos' Kyle Orton improves to 24-12 as an NFL starter.

3: Fumbles by Raiders RB Darren McFadden. His lost fumble at the Broncos 5-yard line late in the third quarter stops the Raiders' deepest penetration of the game. McFadden has seven fumbles in 16 career games with ther Raiders.

61: JaMarcus Russell passing yards on 12-of-21 passing for an abysmal 22.6 passer rating.

215: Broncos rushing yards compared to 95 for the Raiders.

DID YOU KNOW?:
Broncos second-year offensive tacckle Ryan Clady extends his streak of not allowing a full sack to 19 games. It's the longest active streak among starting tackles and tied for the NFL record for the most consecutive games without a sack allowed at the start of one's career.


The Broncos win their second straight game at Oakland and improve to 10-5 in games against the Raiders in Oakland since 1995.
