FLASH RECAP:
Peyton Manning sets an NFL single-season record for passing yards and Denver clinches homefield advantage for the AFC playoffs with a dominating victory over Oakland on Dec. 29, 2013 before an announced crowd of 51,500 at O.co Coliseum.

Playing only the first half, Manning throws for four touchdowns and 266 yards as the Broncos (13-3) build a 31-0 lead through two quarters.

Manning's final pass of the first half — a 5-yard TD toss to Demaryius Thomas with 13 seconds left in the second quarter — breaks Drew Brees' single-season NFL record of 5,476 yards set in 2011.

Terrelle Pryor throws two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter for the Raiders (4-12), who drop their fifth straight to Broncos and end the 2013 season with a six-game losing streak. In his first start since mid-November, Pryor is 21 of 38 passing for 207 yards and two TDs with an 88.4 passer rating.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Denver
QB Peyton Manning — Has a sizzling first half, completing 25 of 28 passes for 266 yards and four TDs with a 145.8 passer rating.

WR Demaryius Thomas — Has 113 receiving yards on six catches and two TDs.

RB Montee Ball — Has a game-high 72 rushing yards on 10 carries.

Oakland
S Charles Woodson — Has a game-high 10 solo tackles and a sack.

DE Lamarr Houston — Has one of three Oakland sacks and seven solo tackles.

TE Nick Kasa — Scores his first NFL touchdown with a 9-yard catch late in the fourth quarter.

KEY STATS:
The Broncos' Peyton Manning finishes the season with 5,477 passing yards and 55 touchdown passes, both NFL records.


With 34 points against the Raiders, the Broncos finish the season with an NFL record 606 points. New England previously held the record of 589 points set in 2007.
The Raiders' Sebastian Janikowski is wide right on a 42-yard field goal attempt during the third quarter, his ninth missed FGA in 30 tries this season.
In losing the past five games to the Broncos, the Raiders have been outscored, 78-172.
Terrelle Pryor has 49 rushing yards on nine carries to finish the season with 576 rushing yards, breaking Rich Gannon's Raiders franchise record of 529 rushing yards for quarterbacks set in 2000.
