Raiders 30, Buccaneers 24

Oct. 30, 2016
Raymond James Stadium
Tampa, FL

STAR OF THE GAME
Derek Carr caps a record-setting game with a 41-yard touchdown pass to Seth Roberts with 1:45 left in overtime to give Oakland (6-2) a dramatic victory over Tampa Bay (3-4). Carr finishes with a franchise-record 513 yards on 40 of 59 passing. Carr also throws for scores to offensive tackle and former Buc Donald Penn, Amari Cooper and Mychal Rivera as the Raiders improve to 5-0 in road games for the first time since 1977.

KEY STATS
Derek Carr throws a 7-yard TD pass to tight end Mychal Rivera to deadlock the score at 24-all with 1:38 remaining. Oakland's Sebastian Janikowski is wide left on a 50-yard field goal attempt on the final play of regulation before Janikowski misses wide right on a 52-yard attempt on the first possession of overtime. On the winning play on Oakland's third possession of the extra period, Carr hits Seth Roberts over the middle short on fourth-and-3 and Roberts outraces Tampa Bay defenders to the end zone.
The Raiders overcome an NFL-record 23 penalties for 200 yards to improve to 6-2 for the first time since 2001. An offensive pass interference penalty on Michael Crabtree nullifies a Raiders touchdown, and Oakland is penalized twice for lining up with 12 players on defense on third-and-1 on Tampa Bay's second TD drive during the fourth quarter.
Derek Carr's 513 passing yards against Tampa Bay breaks Cotton Davidson's previous franchise record of 427 yards against Denver on Oct. 25, 1964.
The Raiders' Amari Cooper has 12 catches for a career-high 173 yards, including a 34-yard TD reception in the third quarter.
Tampa Bay's Jameis Winston throws for 180 yards and two TDs on 16 of 32 passing. The Raiders entered the game ranked 32nd against the pass, allowing 302.1 yards per game.
Defensive end Khalil Mack has both of Oakland's two sacks, giving him four sacks the past three games.
