FLASH RECAP:
PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:
QB Rich Gannon -- Playing only the opening series, completes 8 of 11 passes for 61 yards. He moves Oakland 72 yards in 12 plays, hitting passes to six receivers.
QB Bobby Hoying -- Solidifies his role as Gannon's primary backup with a second straight effective performance (9-of-14 passing for 106 yards). Drives Oakland 53 yards for the game's only touchdown early in the second quarter. His 8-yard pass on third-and-goal is caught by TE Roland Williams after it deflects off the hands of Arizona S Adrian Wilson and Oakland WR Jerry Porter. Williams makes the catch at the Arizona two and bulls across the goal line, with a little shove from teammates.
DE Trace Armstrong -- Former Bears and Dolphins starter contributes 1 1/2 sacks.
WR David Dunn -- His 11-yard reception on third-and-nine from the Oakland 31 keeps a drive going with under four minutes remaining.
WR Jerry Rice -- Gets his first reception as a member of Da Ray-ders on a 6-yard catch in the first quarter.
QB Chris Greisen -- Third-stringer completes 6 of 11 passes for 86 yards and is the game-leading rusher with 25 yards and three carries.
zx WR Nathan Poole -- Sets up Arizona touchdown with a 51-yard catch.
DB Deke Cooper returns a Marques Tuiasosopo pass 45 yards for an apparent go-ahead toucddown, but the play is nullified by a pass interference penalty on CB Michael Stone 1:45 into the fourth quarter.
