FLASH RECAP:
Defensive backs Kendrick Lewis and Brandon Flowers return interceptions for touchdowns as visiting Kansas City defeats Oakland before an announced crowd of 57,361 at O.co Coliseum on Oct. 23, 2011.

The Chiefs (3-3) get their most-lopsided road victory over the Raiders (4-3), who have their eight-game winning streak against AFC West opposition snapped.

Raiders quarterbacks Kyle Boller and Carson Palmer each throw three interceptions. The Raiders have six interceptions in a game for the first time since 1998.

Boller is 7 of 14 passing for 61 yards with three interceptions before being replaced by the recently acquired Palmer early in the second half. Palmer finishes 8 of 21 for 116 yards with three interceptions.

“It was just an awful feeling walking off the field to be beat like that in the fashion that we were beat,” Palmer tells reporters after Oakland's three-game win streak is snapped. “We need to regroup.”

Javier Arenas and Le'Ron McClain each have touchdown runs for the Chiefs, who are out-gained by the Raiders, 322 total yards to 300.

The Raiders are shut out at home by the Chiefs for the first time in the 52-year history of their series. It is the sixth home shutout loss for Oakland, and fifth since 2006.

THEY SAID IT:
“I’m just extremely frustrated. I had an opportunity to go there. It just didn’t go as planned. Definitely not my best outing. I feel bad for my teammates. I feel like I let my teammates down. There’s not much to say. The play speaks for itself.”

Raiders QB Kyle Boller

"We don’t have too many pretty games but as long as we come away with the victory that’s all that matters. We’re definitely making progress and trying to keep this thing going."

Chiefs CB Brandon Carr

"Can’t say nothing about the (Raider) Nation, liable to get them coming down on my head. I guess if I was a fan in the stands I would have booed too. But I’m pretty sure they know this is a different team. This isn’t the team we were two or three years ago, or even last year. So the boos, we’ll take it.’’

Raiders RB Michael Bush
