Chiefs 16, Raiders 10

FLASH RECAP:
Safety Mike Brown's interception of a Bruce Gradkowski pass intended for Darrius Heyward-Bay clinches Kansas City's victory over Oakland on Nov. 15, 2009 before an announced crowd of 40,720 at Oakland Alameda Coliseum Coliseum on Nov. 15, 2009.

Brown makes his second interception of the game after the ball bounces off Heyward-Bey at the Kansas City 10-yard line with 30 seconds remaining.

It's the seventh straight road win for the Chiefs over the Raiders. Until now, Oakland had never lost seven in a row at home to an opponent.

Jamaal Charles scores on a 44-yard run and Ryan Succop kicks three field goals to help the Chiefs (2-7) win for only the fifth time the past 35 games.

Oakland (2-7) scores all its points in the first quarter — a Justin Fargas 1-yard touchdown run and a 50-yard Sebastian Janikowski field goal.

Oakland

DT Tommy Kelly — Has a sack, a tackle for loss and three total tackles.

WR Johnnie Lee Higgins — Contributes four catches for 41 yards.

KEY STATS:
Oakland’s Sebastian Janikowski misses a 46-yard field goal during the third quarter, his first miss in 21 attempts over two seasons. He made 20 in a row after his previous last miss, Nov. 16, 2008, at Miami.

Bruce Gradkowski relieves JaMarcus Russell late in the third quarter and finishes with two interceptions in nine attempts. Before being benched, Russell is 9-of-23 passing for 64 yards.

Jamal Charles' 44-yard scoring run during the second quarter is the Chiefs' first rushing touchdown of the season, making them the last team in the NFL to rush for a score.
The Raiders commit 10 penalties for 88 yards, both season highs.

THEY SAID IT:
“I guess we got a winning streak here. Every time we play a division team our goal is to win. But every time we play the Raiders, it’s always a hated rivalry and coach stressed it all during the week: Hate the Raiders, we’ve got to beat the Raiders.”

Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe

“It’s tough to swallow. We had plays out there that we need to make."

Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski
