QB Alex Smith — Is 18 of 30 passing for 297 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a 115.6 passer rating to help the Chiefs end a three-game losing streak. Smith's 70-yard scoring pass to Knile Davis and a Cairo Santos PAT gives the Chiefs a 31-6 lead with 2:04 left in the third period.

Kansas City defense — The unit does not allow a touchdown for the game's first 59 minutes, surrenders only 280 total yards and has four sacks.

RB/PR D'Anthony Thomas — Returns a Marquette King punt 81 yards for a touchdown late in the first quarter to put the Raiders in an early hole.
