Colts 21, Raiders 17

FLASH RECAP:
Andrew Luck's 19-yard touchdown run with 5:20 remaining lifts Indianapolis to a victory over Oakland in their season opener before an announced crowd of 65,412 at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 7, 2013.

The Raiders (0-1) drive to the Colts' 8-yard line with 1:16 left, but Terrelle Pryor is sacked by Robert Mathis for a 16-yard loss before Pryor throws his second interception with 25 seconds left.

Pryor, making only his second NFL start, throws for 217 yards and rushes for 112 yards.

The Oakland defense, with nine new starters, has four sacks and allows only 274 total yards.

The Raiders score 17 straight points to wipe out an early 14-0 advantage by the Colts (1-0). Pryor's 5-yard touchdown pass to Denarius Moore with 11:09 remaining gives Oakland its only lead before Luck rallies the Colts.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Indianapolis
QB Andrew Luck — Has the game-winning TD on a 19-yard run with 5:20 left on third and four. Luck is 18 of 23 passing for 178 yards after completing his first 11 passes.

S Antoine Bethea — His interception at the Indy 6-yard line with 25 seconds left seals the Colts' victory. Bethea finishes with 11 total tackles, including six solo.

WR Reggie Wayne — Has a game-high eight catches for 96 yards and and a TD.

Oakland
QB Terrelle Pryor — Is 19 of 29 passing for 217 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He also has 112 rushing yards on 13 carries.

WR Denarius Moore — His 5-yard TD catch with 11:09 left gives Oakland a 17-14 lead. Moore finishes with five catches for 43 yards.

SS Tyvon Branch — Has one of four Oakland sacks and four solo tackles.

KEY STATS:
Terrelle Pryor has 112 rushing yards on 13 attempts, breaking Rich Gannon's Raiders record for rushing yards by a quarterback. Gannon had 85 rushing yards against the 49ers on Oct. 8, 2000.


The Colts' Reggie Wayne Wayne passes Steve Largent for No. 13 on the NFL’s career list for receiving yards. Wayne has 13,159 yards while Largent has 13,089.
Oakland's Sebastian Janikowski misses a 48-yard field goal attempt during the first half, ending his streak of 36 straight field goals from under 50 yards. The streak started in the 2011 season.
Darren's McFadden's 1-yard touhdown run in the second quarter is the first by an Oakland runnng back since Oct. 14, 2012.
Punting in his first regular-season game as a Raider, Marquette King averages 50.5 yards on two punts.

"I’m disappointed in myself. Taking sacks is unacceptable. This loss is on me. At the end of the day, I threw the ball away. I did awful, I thought. I had two interceptions. We had them on the ropes. We could’ve won the game.”
