Cowboys 21, Raiders 20

FLASH RECAP:
Tony Romo sneaks in from the 1-yard line for a touchdown with six seconds left to give visiting Dallas a victory over Oakland before an estimated crowd of 35,000 at Network Associates Coliseum on Aug. 8, 2004.

Trailing 20-15 with 4:43 left, the Cowboys (1-1) move 59 yards in 17 plays to pull out the victory. Romo hits tight end Sean Ryan for a 13-yard completion on fourth-and-9 to set up the winning touchdown.

The Raiders (1-1) get touchdowns from Justin Fargas (6-yard run) and Doug Gabriel (89-yard reception).

Each of the Raiders' three quarterbacks - starter Rich Gannon, Kerry Collins and Marques Tuiasosopo - has a completion over 30 yards. Gannon finds Jerry Porter for 41 yards, Collins throws 89 yards to Gabriel and Tuiasosopo hits Alvis Whitted for 33 yards.

Oakland reaches double-digits in penalties for the second straight exhibition game. The Raiders commit 11 penalties for 89 yards one week after being flagged 21 times for 246 yards against the 49ers. The Cowboys drive for the winning touchdown after a Raiders holding penalty on cornerback Carey Scott negates a Romo interception.
