Raiders 16, Eagles 10

FLASH RECAP:
Sebastian Janikowski kicks three second-half field goals and Aaron Brooks throws a touchdown pass in his Raiders debut to lift Oakland to a victory over Philadelphia in the 2006 Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio on Aug. 6.

With the Raiders (1-0) trailing 10-7, Janikowski hits field goals of 51, 50 and 24 yards during the second half as Oakland gives Art Shell a victory in his first game in his return as Raiders coach.

Shell, 59, was named Raiders coach on Feb. 11. The Hall of Fame offensive tackle had a 58-44 record (including playoffs) in five-plus seasons with the Raiders from 1989 to 1994.

Brooks, who signed with Oakland during the 2006 offseason, throws a 12-yard touchdown pass to tight end Courtney Anderson (top photo) early in the second period after the Eagles (0-1) score a TD on their opening possession.

Oakland’s defense has two interceptions (by Fabian Washington and Dennis Davis) and three fumble recoveries.

Despite Oakland's comeback victory, the Raiders' starters have an inauspicious opener. The Eagles drive 61 yards for a touchdown on their opening possession. On their first three possessions, the Raiders have no first downs and gain only nine yards.
