Jaguars 13, Raiders 6

FLASH RECAP:
Greg Jones scores a third-quarter touchdown and Jacksonville's defense forces four turnovers to lift the Jaguars (9-7) to a victory over Oakland (5-11) before an announced crowd of 41,112 at Network Associates Coliseum on Jan. 2, 2005.

Jones accounts for the game's only TD on a 1-yard run to snap a 6-6 tie with 3 minutes, 41 seconds left in the third quarter. The Jaguars then deny the Raiders on two possessions inside the Jacksonville 4-yard line late in the game.

Raiders quarterback Kerry Collins ends an up-and-down season with an abysmal performance -- 15-of-39 passing for 142 yards, no touchdowns, three interceptions and one lost fumble.

On fourth-and-goal at the Jacksonville 2 with 12 seconds left, Collins fumbles the snap, picks the ball up and is tackled for a 6-yard loss. He also kills another potential scoring drive with an interception on fourth-and-goal from the 6 with 4:07 left.

Taking advantage of a steady rain that turns the field into a quagmire, Oakland's Zack Crockett rushes for 134 yards on 22 carries. Unfortunately for Crockett and the Raiders, his 1-yard TD run with 4:22 left is nullified by a tripping penalty on tight end Roland Williams. Two plays later, the Jaguars safety Donovin Davis intercepts a Collins pass in the end zone.
