Raiders 31, Lions 20

FLASH RECAP:
Terrelle Pryor throws for two touchdowns and runs for another to lead Oakland (1-2) to a preseason victory over visiting Detroit (1-2) before an announced crowd of 41,420 at O.co Coliseum on Aug. 25, 2012.

Pryor engineers three straight Oakland touchdown drives over a 10-minute span of the second half. His 17-yard scoring run with 30 seconds left in the third quarter erases a 13-10 Lions lead. He has a 59-yard run to set up Oakland's go-ahead TD.

Pryor and rookie wide receiver Juron Criner hook up for 39-yard and 76-yard TD pass plays during the fourth quarter.

Oakland backup kicker Eddy Carmona hits a 56-yard field goal on the final play off the first half, giving the Raiders a 10-6 lead.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Oakland
QB Terrelle Pryor — Is 3 of 5 passing for 137 yards and two touchdowns, His passer efficiency rating is a whopping 143.8. Pryor has 90 rushing yards (including a 59-yard run) and a TD on five carries. He has 227 of the Raiders' 513 total yards.

WR Juron Criner — Has two catches for 115 yards and two TDs. Criner scores on 39-yard and 76-yard pass receptions during the fourth quarter as Oakland builds a 31-13 advantage.

WR Darrius Heyward-Bey — His leaping 41-yard catch of a Carson Palmer pass sets up Darren McFadden's 1-yard scoring run in the second quarter, the first TD in three preseason games for Oakland's first team offense.

Detroit
QB Matthew Stafford — Is 8 of 10 passing 68 yards before being sidelined in the second quarter with an injury to his non-throwing hand. Stafford completes his first six passes for 47 to help set up a 41-yard field goal by Jason Hanson.

TE Brandon Pettigrew — His 7-yard TD catch gives the Lions a 13-10 advantage early in the second half. Pettigrew finishes with four catches for 31 yards.

QB Shaun Hill — Is 7 of 15 passing for 67 yards and a TD.

DID YOU KNOW?:
With the win over the Lions, the Raiders end a six-game preseason losing streak. Oakland had not won a preseason game since a 27-24 victory over visiting Seattle on Sept. 2, 2010.


The Raiders improve to 5-1 in their preseason series with the Lions.
