RB Stevan Ridley — Has a game-high 97 rushing yards on 10 carries. His 33-yard TD run four minutes into the third quarter gives the Patriots a 24-10 lead.

Oakland

The Raiders have only one sack (Mike Mitchell in the fourth quarter) against the Patriots. Oakland enters the game with 10 sacks.

TURNING POINT:
Safety Patrick Chung preserves a 14-10 New England lead when he intercepts Jason Campbell in the back of the end zone late in the first half. The Raiders had marched to the Patriots' 6 before Campbell's first of two interceptions. The Patriots get a field goal before halftime for a 17-10 lead and then add a touchdown early in the third quarter for a 24-10 advantage.

THEY SAID IT:
"If you’re going to throw passes you’re going to throw interceptions. That’s part of playing quarterback. If it happens, it happens. You have to bounce back. We did a much better job of taking care of the football, which I think was a big reason why we won."

Patriots QB Tom Brady

"It cost us. It cost our team. It’s something I don’t usually do. Unfortunately, it happened. And from that point on, it kind of stirred the momentum. We just pretty much were going tit for tat at that point. You’re going against a team like New England, an offensive juggernaut, you can’t have mistakes like that.”

BY THE NUMBERS:
0: Interceptions by New England’s Tom Brady, who had four interceptions in a 34-31 road loss to Buffalo the previous week.
9.7: Yards per carry on 10 rushing attempts by the Patriots' Stevan Ridley, who finishes with 97 rushing yards.

Brady passed Joe Montana on the NFL career list with his TD pass to Wes Welker during the first quarter and he also ties Peyton Manning’s record of 13 straight games with at least two TD passes.

Quarterback Jason Campbell’s 344 yards is his highest passing yardage performance with the Raiders, surpassing the 324 yards he had against Jacksonville in 2010 and 323 against Buffalo in Week 2. All three 300-yard games came in losses.
The Raiders drop their second straight regular-season game to the Patriots in Oakland after winning the previous six.
