FLASH RECAP:
Daunte Culpepper throws for a touchdown in his first Raiders start to help Oakland (2-1) defeat St. Louis (1-2) before an announced crowd of 44,131 at McAfee Coliseum on Aug. 24, 2007.

Culpepper is 4-of-7 passing for 47 yards with no interceptions. His 19-yard touchdown pass to Ronald Curry early in the second quarter gives Oakland a 10-0 lead.

The Raiders' Josh McCown, who enters the game with 6:19 left in the first half, is 6-of-9 passing for 138 yards. His 49-yard screen pass to LaMont Jordan sets up Jordan's 1-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter.

The Rams have only three points (on a Jeff Wilkins 26-yard field goal) through three quarters. Gus Frerotte throws a 6-yard touchdown pass to Marques Hagans on the first play of the fourth quarter.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Oakland
QB Daunte Culpepper — Is 4-of-8-passing for 47 yards and a touchdown. Culpepper has thrown for three touchdowns with no interceptions in Oakland's first three 2007 exhibition games.
WR Ronald Curry — Turns a short pass into a 19-yard touchdown after eluding Rams CB Ty Hill over the middle. Curry finishes with a team-high three catches for 27 yards.
RB LaMont Jordan — Sets up his 1-yard touchdown run with a 49-yard reception on a screen pass late in the second quarter. Jordan coughs up a fumble near the goal line on third-and-1 from the St. Louis 1-yard line in the first quarter.
St. Louis
WR Isaac Bruce — Has a game-high four catches for 77 yards. Bruce catches a 40-yard pass from Marc Bulger on the game's first play.
DE Eric Moore — Has two sacks and a forced fumble.
WR Marques Hagans — Catches a 6-yard touchdown pass from Gus Frerotte on the first play of the fourth quarter.

KEY STATS:
The Raiders have 172 rushing yards on 46 carries (3.7 yards per rush).


Oakland converts four of six fourth down tries.

TURNING POINT:
The Raiders build a 17-3 lead in the second quarter on touchowns by Ronald Curry (19-yard reception) and LaMont Jordan (1-yard run).
