Ravens 29, Raiders 10

FLASH RECAP:
Joe Flacco throws for a touchdown and rushes for another to help Baltimore (4-3) beat visiting Oakland (2-5) before an announced crowd of 71,254 at M&T Bank Stadium on Oct. 26, 2008.

Flacco's 70-yard touchdown pass to Demetrius Williams midway through the second quarter puts Oakland in a 16-0 hole. Flacco's 12-yard scoring run with 3:35 remaining in the game caps the scoring.

The Raiders score all their points in the third quarter: a Sebastian Janikowski 22-yard field goal and Justin Griffith's 2-yard TD catch.

Oakland has a season-low 47 rushing yards against Baltimore's top-ranked rush defense. Oakland enters the game ranked fifth in rushing offense (143.0 yards per game).

Baltimore
Ravens defense — The unit allows 47 rushing yards, 234 total yards, has four sacks and a safety.
OLB Terrell Suggs — Spearheads Baltimore's defense with a sack, 2 tackles for loss and 2 quarterback hits.
QB Joe Flacco — Is an efficient 12-of-24 passing for 140 yards and one TD with no turnovers. The rookie from the University of Delaware has 23 rushing yards on 4 carries, capped by a 12-yard TD run. Flacco also makes his first NFL catch, hauling in a 43-yard pass from backup QB Troy Smith out of a single wing formation.

Oakland
WR Chaz Schilens — Has 3 catches for 76 yards, including as 60-yard to set up a Sebastian Janikowski 22-yard field goal in the third quarter.
CB DeAngelo Hall — Contributes a fumble recovery, 3 passes defensed and 4 tackles.
FB Justin Griffith — Scores his first TD of the season (second in two seasons) on a 2-yard reception.

KEY STATS:
The Ravens surrender 47 rushing yards on 19 carries. Baltimore enters the game ranked first in the NFL in rush defense, allowing 67.2 yards per game.


The Raiders allow a safety for the first time since Dec. 12, 2000 against Seattle.
Led by Ray Rice's 64 yards, the Ravens have 192 rushing yards on 46 attemps (4.2 yards per carry).
