Raiders 34, Steelers 31

FLASH RECAP:
Sebastian Janikowski kicks a 43-yard field goal on the last play to lift Oakland to a come-from-behind win over visiting Pittsburgh before an announced crowd of 62,373 at O.co Coliseum on Sept. 23, 2012.

The Raiders (1-2) score the final 13 points in the dramatic fourth quarter as Dennis Allen wins his first regular-season game as Oakland head coach.

Trailing 31-21 entering the fourth quarter, the Raiders begin their comeback on a 6-yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer to Denarius Moore with 12:13 remaining. A 32-yard field goal by Janikowski with 6:30 left deadlocks the score at 31-all.

After Oakland forces a Pittsburgh punt, the Raiders take over at their 25-yard line with 1:43 remaining. On the nine-play drive, Palmer is 4 for 6 passing for 49 yards to help advance the ball to the Steelers' 26 to set up Janikowski's game-winning field goal.

Early in the fourth quarter, Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is knocked unconscious by a helmet-to-helmet hit by Steelers safety Ryan Mundy on an incomplete pass in the end zone.

Team trainers and medical staff attend to Heyward-Bey for more than 10 minutes. His head and neck are eventually immobilized to a body board before he is carted off the field and transported to a local hospital.

As he is being carted off the field, Heyward-Bey raises his right hand as to indicate that he is OK.

After the game, a Raiders official tells reporters that Heyward-Bey is in stable condition and he is being kept overnight at Mt. Eden Medical Center in nearby Castro Valley.

"He has a concussion," Allen tells reporters after Oakland's third victory over Pittsburgh the past four meetings. "He was able to talk a little bit. He was able to move his extremities so that was a good sign."

Ben Roethlisberger throws for four touchdowns and 384 yards for the Steelers (1-2). Pittsburgh self-destructs with two lost fumbles and 10 penalties.
