FLASH RECAP:
Joe Nedney kicks a 21-yard field goal with 1:47 remaining to give Tennessee a 13-10 triumph over Oakland before an announced crowd of 61,934 at Network Associates Coliseum on Dec. 22, 2001. The Raiders' Sebastian Janikowski misses three of four field goal attempts, including a 42-yarder with six seconds remaining as Tennessee (7-7) wins its third straight against Oakland. After a scoreless first half, the Titans take a 10-0 lead in the third quarter on Nedney's 22-yard field goal and a 30-yard touchdown pass from Steve McNair to Kevin Dyson. The Raiders (10-4) rally for a 10-10 tie on Rich Gannon's 4-yard scoring pass to Roland Williams and a 35-yard Janikowski field goal. After Janikowski is wide left on a 33-yard field goal attempt with 5:54 remainig, McNair drives the Titans 74 yards to set up Nedney's game-winning field goal.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Tennessee
WR Derrick Mason -- Burns Pro Bowl cornerback Charles Woodson for 29- and 22-yard receptions to set up Joe Nedney's game-winning 21-yard field goal. Mason finishes with five catches for for 78 yards.
PK Joe Nedney -- Makes two chip shot field goals from 22 and 21 yards. Nedney, cut by Oakland during its 2000 training camp, has made his last nine field goal attempts against the Raiders.
QB Steve McNair -- Completes 10 of 16 passes for 135 yards and one touchdown in the second half. McNair, who didn't practice during the week because of back spasms, hits two third-down passes to Derrick Mason for 29- and 22 yards on Tennessee's game-winning drive.
LB Eddie Robinson -- Contributes a game-high 10 total tackles (nine solo), one interception and one pass defensed.
WR Kevin Dyson -- Catches a 30-yard touchdown pass from Steve McNair in the third quarter.
Oakland
RB Charlie Garner -- Catches nine passes for 75 yards and has 54 yards rushing on 10 attempts.
WR Jerry Rice -- His one-handed 40-yard reception to the Tennesse 5 sets up the Raiders' lone touchdown. Rice finishes with six catches for 84 yards.
OT Barry Sims -- His blocking neutralizes Titans DE Jevon "The Freak" Kearse, who has no tackles.
MLB Greg Biekert -- Has seven solo tackles and a sack.
TE Roland Williams -- Scores on a 4-yard pass from Rich Gannon. Contributes a season-high five receptions for 32 yards.

GOAT OF THE GAME:
Oakland kicker Sebastian Janikowksi. After making 21 of 23 field goal attempts in the Raiders' first 13 games this season, The Polish Cannon misses three of four attempts against Tennessee. Janikowski misses attempts of 40, 33 and 42 yards.

TURNING POINT:
After Oakland's Sebastian Janikowski is wide left on a 33-yard field goal attempt with 5:54 remaining, Tennessee drives 74 yards to set up Joe Nedney's game-winning 21-yard field goal.

KEY DRIVE:
The Titans move 74 yards in 12 plays before Joe Nedney kicks a game-winning 21-yard field goal. Steve McNair hits three of four passes for 62 yards and Skip Hicks adds 16 yards rushing. After McNair rushes for six yards to the Oakland 3-yard line on third-and-goal from the nine, Joe Nedney makes his second field goal of the game with 1:47 remaining.

DID YOU KNOW?:
The Titans defeat the Raiders for only the second time in their past 10 games at Oakland. Before their 13-10 victory, the Titans/Oilers hadn't beaten the Raiders at Oakland since a 27-26 triumph in 1975. The AFC Central franchise moved from Houston to Nashville, Tenn. after the 1996 season.
